K-ON! Afterschool Live!! (PSP)
I'm sure you all have heard (or even started playing) the 1st game for the series called 'K-ON! Afterschool (Houkago) Live!!' right?
Well... let's discuss about stuff here! Like how to unlock the costumes or accessories or what do you think of the game etc... ^^

Seems like Ritsu-senpai's the only one that plays this game. I envy you. *does not have PSP*
...And I'd never heard of the game. What do you do in it?

And me makes three; I have neither that game or a PSP. ;__; Then again, I'm behind with gaming on every platform...
I remember how taunted I felt when the commercial advertising the game was shown every episode when I watched it live. >.<

Oh lol... I'm sorry to hear that LOVELESS-san... Little Donkey-san... ^^;
Well.. it's a rhythm game... and well, you can relive moments from the 1st season of the anime by giving stuff to the characters and also special events that's only available for the game... you can also change the outfits they wear during the performance and... hmm... a 'Make your own song' mode... a 'Clock' mode... oh yeah. And you can unlock songs, items, accessories and voices through playing the 'Performance' mode too. You can play with the characters on the menu screen like give them snacks or their instruments etc... lots of stuff actually.
Plus, LOTS of implied Mitsu... LOL. And overall the game's pretty fun but you need to understand Japanese... but even if you don't, as long as you remember whatever happened in the 1st season, you should be able to understand at least 85% of the storyline and 'Performance' mode wise, you really need to be extremely rhythmic to get a good result... (S rank - E rank, which rank do you prefer? XP) unless you know the song's rhythm like the back of your hand then it's practically a piece of cake! Also, the song's rhythm will be decided depending on the instrument-character you choose... (For example, Ritsu's instrument's the drums right? So the rhythm will be based on the drums parts of the song.)
If you guys enjoy rhythm games, I'm sure K-ON! Afterschool Live!! is one of my top choices for you all. XP Provided they release a PC ver of it or something for those who doesn't have a PSP... :S I'm currently only 46% done with the game. LOL.

Oooooh, rhythm games! I like them, but I'm fail at them. D=
Well, I finally saw a video of the gameplay--I hope they do a DS version of it.... So many games are on PSP. ;___; I'd love to play the drum parts of the songs.
Or is there a good PSP emulator out there somewhere on the internets? And the rom for this game?
Examples? *____*

Re: K-ON! Afterschool Live!! (PSP)
Let's see... ah!
In the menu screen when you give the characters stuff, if you give Ritsu's drums to Mio, she'll call out to Ritsu with a very soft and gentle voice... when you give the other's instruments to Mio, she'll be using her normal voice (exclaiming style? no... uh... dunno how to express...) ... which is different from how she calls out to Ritsu in the game.
.. Hmm... and one of the events, Mio's embarassed about singing Fude Pen Boru Pen or something, so Ritsu tries to 'get her voice back' by saying there's a ghost behind her, resulting to Mio yelling yadda yadda yadda... Then Ritsu returns back to playing her drums and Mio saying thank you to Ritsu. Well that sounds normal though...
Maybe the event where Mio tries to practice alone sounds better... she tried playing a bar or something of a song but it doesn't really come out right, so the first person she voices out to is Ritsu... but she realized no one was around, so she sighed and finally felt lonely about practicing alone. (Though everyone was eavesdropping on Mio's solo practice session from outside the club room. XP)
... And if my memory serves (and my playthrough too...), Mio and Ritsu make quite a lot of eye contact during the songs at 'Performance' mode... I dunno maybe it's just me... :l
